We love the 4.5” wide brim all around that provides high sun protection with a UPF 50, saving your beautiful skin from the suns harsh rays whilst providing an extremely stylish and versatile hat. The sash it comes standard with is black. However, it can be removed and replaced with your favorite designer or alternative color sash to match your personal style and outfits. The girls around here are notorious for swapping out the black with white and designer sashes to match their purses(see product images for example). In fact just last week we discovered a Hermes style sash that we swapped the black out with to match our newest pink handbag (a girls got to live, LOL). This is definitely a fun hat that can be dressed up or down and the material is great quality.
These are made in both sizes M (fits most standard women’s heads up to 57cm) as well an XL size with an adjustable inner drawstring so the XL size could be made to fit from a 58cm-61cm size head comfortably. We recommend that you pack it with socks/undies in the crown to maintain its shape in your luggage or wear it on the plane to start your vacay early!

If you have elected 2-Day shipping at checkout, we will ship out your order within 24 hours for you to receive within 2 business days of us processing (depending on where in the US you live since our warehouse is in Kentucky).
Please note if there is an unexpected delay we will contact you. Feel free to email us if you have questions about your specific order or need it by a certain day so we can best accommodate you.
Also, in very rare cases, 1% of the time, we get customers that email us stating they have not received their order after it has been posted as "Delivered" by USPS. In most of these cases, the postal courier has placed the package inside the mailbox (rather than the front door) as many of our packages are in mailers and not boxes. If you have not received your package and it has been posted as delivered in tracking, please check your mailbox first, then contact USPS as only they can connect you with the courier that delivered or marked delivered the package. Unfortunately, we have no control of USPS or the package once it leaves us so if it has been marked as delivered we must take USPS's word that it has been. If you contact them we have never had an unresolved issue of it still being missing.
International Orders are welcomed with no order minimum with a $39 shipping charge. Due to many issues we had with shipments during COVID, we have now temporarily eliminated standard International shipping and only offer an upgraded DHL International shipping which takes 3-7 business days.
If your country does not show as an option during shipping, please send us an email at service@sungrubbies.com and we will see if we can accommodate shipping to your destination. Not all destinations can be shipped to.
Lastly, please note that you will be responsible for any customs/VAT/duties, if applicable, at the time of delivery. In many cases, if a consumer refuses to pay the taxes associated with the transaction it gets rejected and sent back to us. We would not refund the shipping charges we incurred if a package is rejected for nonpayment of duties/taxes owed.
Customs, duties and other fees assessed by the destination country for an item can NOT be paid to the United States Postal Service® when the item is mailed. The recipient of the mailpiece is the only one who can pay the customs fees.

It is important to understand that, if duties and taxes are assessed on an item mailed via the Postal Service™, they are collected from the recipient. Postage is charged to cover the expense of delivery only. Postage does not cover charges assessed by customs in the destination country.

I purchased this hat for my daughter, who is an instructor for Boys & Girls Club. Because of the COVID pandemic, most of their classes are being taught outdoors. I have a history of melanoma and she is very fair-skinned, so I was worried. I wanted expedited delivery, but that had been suspended due to the pandemic. However, the Customer Service rep offered to do whatever might be possible to get the hat shipped quickly. Not sure what she did, but I got a notice several hours later that the hat was “on the truck,” and it arrived two days later (rather than the 10 working days that were promised). My daughter is thrilled—she says it is wonderful protection from the sun, and also keeps her a little bit cooler. Now that I have seen their website, it will be my first stop when I need a new hat!
