Gorgeous vegan suede UPF 50 sun hat. Provides stylish sun protection and shields you from the elements. The moderate brim is not overpowering and can be dressed up or down. Animal-free vegan suede. Order Processing:

Most orders are shipped out same day or within 24 business hours from our warehouse in San Diego, California. We do not process orders on weekends.

In very rare cases, 1% of the time, we get customers that email us stating they have not received their order after it has been posted as "Delivered" by USPS/selected carrier. In most of these cases, the postal courier has placed the package inside the mailbox (rather than the front door) as many of our packages are in mailers and not boxes. If you have not received your package and it has been posted as delivered in tracking, please check your mailbox first, then contact the courier directly as only they can connect you with the courier that delivered or marked delivered the package. Unfortunately, we have no control of USPS or the package once it leaves us so if it has been marked as delivered we must take USPS's word that it has been. If you contact them we have never had an unresolved issue of it still being missing.  

For promo discounts, if missed at time of purchase, it is no issue at all. However, we ask that you please email us within 24 hours of placing the oder in order for us to manually apply it. If an order has already been shipped, then discount code will no longer apply in retrospect.

For domestic shipments, you should expect a notification when package has successfully been delivered. If for any reason you do not find the package soon after receiving delivery notice, we recommend  that you wait until end of business day, sometime even 24 hours after. Our customers have experienced discrepancies between the time such notification is sent out and the actual delivery time of package. Please make sure your package was not picked up by someone else at your residence. We also recommend that you check with your local postal delivery person, just in case, and feel free reach out to our customer service so that our team is also aware of the issue. We recommend that you do so within 24 hours from the time delivery notification is sent out. 

Standard Shipping Fees: Typically $5.99. Possibly more depending on carrier of choice 

We find that most of our customers receive their purchases within 3-5 business days of processing. We ship standard orders using USPS First Class Mail.

Expedited Shipping-Cost/timeframe vary based on option selected at checkout

Expedited shipping cost varies for domestic US shipping destinations. Expedited shipping typically takes up to 4 business days to arrive.

Please note: we cannot guarantee shipping speed/timeframe, nor influence the process with the USPS. Our guarantee is fast processing time, and that we will upgrade the shipping speed to Priority, per the order request. Should you decide to pay for expedited shipping, and package is delayed, we are not responsible nor liable. as a result, we do not issue shipping refunds on all expedited shipments, unless it was delayed by Sungrubbies team.

UPS ground takes 1-5 business days.

 

International Customers

International Orders are welcomed. Shipping charges default to carrier charges which are presented during the checkout process. You will be prompted to select the most suitable option between all available carriers.

If your country does not show as an option during shipping, please send us an email at service@sungrubbies.com and we will see if we can accommodate shipping to your destination. Not all destinations can be shipped to.

Lastly, please note that you will be responsible for any customs/VAT/duties, if applicable, at the time of delivery. In many cases, if a consumer refuses to pay the taxes associated with the transaction it gets rejected and sent back to us. We would not refund the shipping charges we incurred if a package is rejected for nonpayment of duties/taxes owed.

Customs, duties and other fees assessed by the destination country for an item can NOT be paid to the United States Postal Service® when the item is mailed. The recipient of the mail-piece is the only one who can pay the customs fees.

All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and assessment of duties, taxes, and fees in accordance with that country's national laws (this fee is also collected in the United States on inbound international items). Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the item sent is dutiable and if the value of the item is above the threshold set by the country's laws. Each country assesses customs, duties, and taxes. Check the World Customs Organization website for general information, or visit the website of that country's customs service.

It is important to understand that, if duties and taxes are assessed on an item mailed via the Postal Service™, they are collected from the recipient. Postage is charged to cover the expense of delivery only. Postage does not cover charges assessed by customs in the destination country.

It is also important to keep in mind that packages may be delayed due to customs or even local carriers, which in most cases is out of our control. In fact, due to the limited tracking available in many countries, we find very little information as to what is happening in real time with some of these package.

Return Shipping

For Domestic Customers | Free Exchanges Within 30 Days

At Sungrubbies returns are easy! Use our return label to automatically postmark your return within 30 days of the delivery date. You will be able to quickly process a return request, and download a prepaid shipping label. A one time shipping return fee of $9.95 will be charged and deducted from total refund.

You will also be presented with the option to select "self ship" where you get to choose your own shipping method, and separately purchase your own shipping label to mail the item back. In either case, we will email you complete instructions on how to package and mail the items back. 

All items will be inspected and must be in their original condition with tags attached, no stains or signs of wear, and in the packaging or similar packaging as they were delivered (please do not stuff our hats in smaller packages or destroy them, all damaged merchandise will not be accepted). 

Returns/ exchanges passed 30 days will not be accepted. Please reach out to our customer service team in case you are passed the 30 day window. If approved, store credit will be offered as form of refund.

No refunds on upgraded shipping services: 

If you paid for expedited shipping service (i.e. Express, Priority, Expedited, etc), that all shipping charges are none-refundable, only product purchases are. In case package was delayed. Unless the delay was caused by Sungrubbies, please trust, we had nothing to do with that, and for that reason, we do not refund the upgraded shipping charges. 

 

For International Customers | Returns Allowed Within 30 Days

Customer is responsible to mail the item(s) back. All items must be in original sellable condition. Please include packing slip. Please send an email to customer service to indicate your intentions and provide tracking information once package is successfully dropped off to the postal service.
